Located in western Uganda, is one of Africa’s most important tropical rainforests and is best known for its rich primate diversity. Often called the “Primate Capital of the World,” it is home to the largest population of chimpanzees in Uganda, along with more than 12 other primate species such as red colobus monkeys and L’Hoest’s monkeys.
